Turns out you can’t use tables, why? Well, this is what I can gather – apparently tables will not show up the same across different media platforms. e.g a page which works fine on firefox or I.E may look messy and jumbled on an iPhone. Although I doubt that my target audience will be looking at my page on an I-phone it is a good practice to get into.
I did find this out the hard way! I had built most of my site with tables and was about to get down to the nitty gritty, anyway now I get to play with <div> tags… yay.
